Terms of Sale — Scantivo In-App Purchases
Last updated: 2 October 2026
To be read with the Terms of Use of Scantivo. The applicable price and currency remain those displayed by the store before purchase confirmation.
1. Purpose and structure of the documents
These terms describe the commercial conditions of Scantivo in-app purchases offered by CAMPO STELLATO and distributed through the App Store or Google Play. They complement the Terms of Use of Scantivo, which govern the application’s operation, the license, authorized uses, availability, responsibilities, and technical limitations.
The rules of the relevant store apply to the operations it handles. The identity of the entity involved in the transaction and its status result from the relevant store terms for the account country and the purchase receipt. These terms do not make CAMPO STELLATO responsible for Apple’s or Google’s own obligations and do not release CAMPO STELLATO from its own obligations. Any applicable mandatory provisions remain in force.
This document covers in-app purchases made with store billing. It does not constitute a direct sales offer on the site scantivo.fr nor a bulk distribution contract. Any other offer will be subject to appropriate pre-contractual information and terms before an order is placed.
2. Publisher and Contact
CAMPO STELLATO, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of 208,200 euros, whose registered office is Route de l’Ospedale, Chemin Analonga, Lieu-dit Ortibarzo, 20137 Porto-Vecchio, France; SIREN 529 987 208; RCS Ajaccio 529 987 208.
Contact: contact@scantivo.fr. These details in particular allow for reporting any operational or supply difficulties.
3. Unlimited offer and optional trial
Scantivo Unlimited is a one-time in-app purchase, with no subscription or recurring payment. The content of the offer is described in the app before purchase and in the "Scantivo Unlimited" and "Scope of Scantivo Unlimited Purchase" sections of the Terms of Use. The restrictions of the free and trial versions remain as stated there. These Terms of Sale do not alter those feature and usage limits.
The app does not include a dedicated command for the general import of external PDFs into “My Library”. The editing tools apply to PDFs created with Scantivo or already present in its library, including following restoration, synchronization or, where the system permits, manual placement in the app’s document storage. Adding pages uses new captures or pages from a PDF already present in the library.
The optional 14-day trial is not a paid order. Its activation does not automatically convert into a purchase or result in a charge when it expires. Purchasing Unlimited requires a separate action and confirmation through the store.
The purchase does not imply any commitment to create new features or to continue development indefinitely. The duration of the unlock, the conditions for stopping sales or services, and the rights already acquired are governed by the Terms of Use, without limiting statutory guarantees.
When the trial expires without an Unlimited purchase, Scantivo returns to the Free level: no purchase is made, and existing PDFs and saved changes are not deleted. Users can still open and read existing PDFs, rename them, delete them, including with “Delete Everywhere”, share or export a complete PDF, search by filename and, where source data are available, use the quick appearance and corner adjustments. Document mode remains available, subject to the limit of 15 new PDFs per calendar month. Photo mode, the full PDF editor and actions on selected pages, OCR content search, creation or export of a backup or transfer file, library sync and Scantivo Pulse are then locked. Library sync and Scantivo Pulse pause without automatically deleting documents; an existing Scantivo backup or transfer file can still be restored or imported free of charge with its password.
The trial is optional, and its state, dates, and total allowance of three Photo pages are stored locally on the device without a Scantivo account. A normal update generally preserves this state, but deleting or reinstalling the app, clearing its data, resetting the device, certain restores, or changing devices may remove it: the trial may then be lost or reset. It is not restored by a Scantivo server or guaranteed to transfer between devices. This limitation affects neither the free version nor an Unlimited purchase.
In Scantivo, “Edit PDF” and “editing tools” mean operations on the pages of a PDF in “My Library,” including rotation, ordering, adding, duplicating, extracting, deleting, sharing, labels, appearance and, where source data permit, corner adjustment. They do not rewrite the words or paragraphs contained in a page as a word processor would. OCR assists search and naming; it does not turn recognized text into editable text.
Information available before purchase
Before the paid confirmation, the user must be able to review the essential features of the offer, the relevant restrictions, the compatibility requirements, these Terms of Sale and the Terms of Use. A demonstration or presentation video does not replace this information. Screenshots and demonstrations may use fictitious documents; they do not constitute certification of recognition or processing results.
Territorial availability depends on the countries enabled for the application and purchase in the store. The existence of a translation does not mean that the product is sold in all countries where that language is spoken. These terms do not constitute an offer in a territory where the purchase is not offered.
Scantivo Smart Upload
Scantivo Smart Upload includes 1 free PDF size reduction per calendar month in the free version and during the optional trial. Scantivo Unlimited allows unlimited reductions with a one-time purchase and no subscription. The feature is available in compatible versions and environments, with no separate Scantivo Smart Upload payment. No automatic purchase is triggered. Technical limitations and platform differences are described in the Terms of Use and guide; they should be reviewed before purchase.
On iPhone and iPad, the Safari extension can detect the limit for an upload field on an authorised website. You can also enter a limit manually, including in Scantivo for another app or outside Safari. On Android, size-limit detection in Chrome is optional and requires a compatible version of Scantivo, your separate consent and service activation in Android. On Android, enter and confirm the limit in MB in Scantivo before selecting the PDF if needed. A still-valid detected limit is used first, then an applicable manual limit, then the 4 MB fallback. Ambiguous or expired context is rejected, not replaced with a larger limit. The 4 MB fallback applies only when no usable limit is available; it does not arbitrarily replace a detected limit. If detection fails or is not authorised, use this manual workflow. Reduction and file acceptance remain subject to the document’s capabilities and the website’s checks.
Including Scantivo Smart Upload does not create a promise to support every browser, website, document or future operating system. The Terms of Use provisions on acquired Unlimited rights, availability, maintenance and discontinuation continue to apply, without restricting statutory warranties or mandatory remedies.

In Scantivo, read the dedicated explanation and, if you wish, give separate consent for Chrome detection. Then enable “Scantivo Smart Upload · Chrome” yourself in Android Accessibility settings. This Android service is not a Chrome extension. Refusing leaves manual Scantivo Smart Upload available; you can withdraw consent directly in Scantivo Smart Upload settings. No previous laboratory test consent is carried over.
New features and separate purchases
A Scantivo Unlimited purchase covers the features and usage allowances expressly included in the offer presented before confirmation, together with the commitments applicable to that purchase. Unless expressly stated to be included, it does not automatically grant access to every feature, module, service or separate edition developed later. CAMPO STELLATO may offer optional new products, including through separate in-app purchases. Their scope, terms and price are disclosed before any order; purchasing Unlimited or installing an update does not itself trigger an additional payment.
This does not allow a feature already included in the acquired offer to be removed from that offer and charged for a second time, or a correction or update required to maintain conformity to be charged for separately. A version-number change alone, including a change from 1.x to 2.x, is not sufficient to remove acquired rights or require payment again for features already purchased.
This clause does not retroactively restrict commitments attached to earlier purchases, including legally binding pre-contractual information and promises made at the time of purchase. Statutory guarantees, mandatory updates and remedies, and applicable store rules continue to apply. Unlimited remains a one-time purchase without a subscription; a future separate offer does not convert it into a subscription.
4. Price and currency
The total amount to be paid and the applicable currency are those indicated on the store confirmation screen before purchase validation. For consumers, applicable taxes are presented in accordance with current rules. Prices may vary depending on the store, territory, and taxes; a personal conversion of a price displayed in another country does not determine the order price.
Any connection fees, mobile plan charges, or conversion fees separately billed by the operator, bank, or payment provider are subject to their own terms. A price change for future sales does not result in any additional payment for an Unlimited purchase already made.
5. Order, payment, and receipt
The user selects the offer and checks its content, price, and the conditions presented before confirming the purchase with the store's validation mechanism. They must have the necessary authorizations to use the account and the payment method involved. A minor acts with the authorizations required by law and the store's rules.
Payment and its authentication are processed by the store and its providers. Checking a box to accept the Terms of Use during onboarding does not trigger any payment. The user retains the purchase receipt provided by the store, which allows, among other things, the identification of the order and the entity that invoiced it.
In this version of the application, the Terms of Use, Terms of Sale and Privacy Policy can each be viewed separately before validation, and the single acceptance box is not pre-checked. Acceptance of the Terms of Use and Terms of Sale and acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy do not constitute a paid order, automatic activation of the trial or waiver of a right of withdrawal. The Continue button remains unavailable until the box is checked. The conditions applicable to a purchase remain available before confirmation in the store.
6. Provision and difficulty of unlocking
Unlocking is made available after confirmation of the purchase by the store and recognition of the access right by the application, without undue delay. An order pending approval or payment does not constitute a final confirmed purchase.
If the payment is confirmed but access does not appear, the user can use the purchase restoration offered in the app and contact support. They are advised not to make repeated purchase attempts to resolve this issue. Legal rights in case of non-delivery or non-compliance remain applicable; processing by a store does not justify leaving a request unanswered.
7. Devices, restoration, and license
The purchase is linked to the store account used for the transaction. Its restoration is carried out on compatible devices of the same platform, according to the store's mechanisms and rules. A purchase made in one store does not, by itself, grant a right to restoration in the other store.
The license and usage rights are those set out in the Terms of Use, subject to the applicable store rules. No family sharing or transfer to another account is promised beyond the rights actually attached to the product and those imposed by law or the store. The conditions of professional use do not constitute a transfer of the software or its source code.
The user license rules of the store remain applicable within their own scope. For an application distributed by Apple without an applicable custom license agreement, the standard Apple license agreement governs the corresponding license. These Terms of Use and Terms of Sale do not have the effect of reducing the rights imposed by these rules. The conditions for volume or organizational distribution do not arise from an individual purchase.
Apple and Android services remain separate. Library sync works only between Apple devices using the same iCloud account, or between Android devices using the same authorized Google account. Platform-native full backups are not interchangeable. The dedicated transfer file can move finalized PDFs and their labels between compatible versions, but not source images, re-editable scan settings, OCR data or the Unlimited purchase. Sharing or exporting a complete PDF remains independent. App Store and Google Play purchases are separate and do not transfer between stores. Scantivo Pulse likewise uses the file service and account selected for that platform; it signals revisions without storing or synchronizing PDFs on a Scantivo document server.
A backup is a manual, dated snapshot encrypted with a password. Creating or exporting one is available during the trial and then with Unlimited; restoring an existing Scantivo file remains free, replaces rather than merges the current library, turns off library sync and the destination folder, and does not erase external copies. Library sync is continuous and bidirectional: changes and deletions may propagate to devices in the same ecosystem. Turning it off or pausing it stops future exchanges without erasing local or remote copies; the erase-synchronized-data command removes only the provider copy and keeps local PDFs. The destination folder is a separate one-way copy; turning it off leaves existing copies in place. A manual backup is not updated retroactively.
8. Withdrawal and refunds
When French consumer law applies, the consumer generally has fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw from a remote purchase of digital content, without having to justify their decision.
For paid digital content provided without physical media before the end of this period, the loss of the right of withdrawal requires prior and express consent to early performance, acknowledgment of the loss of the right, and the required confirmation on durable medium, under the conditions of Article L. 221-28, 13° of the Consumer Code. Simply accepting these Terms of Sale or the Terms of Use does not replace these formalities. Digital services follow the rules corresponding to their classification; merely starting a service does not automatically constitute full performance.
For purchases billed by Apple, requests can be submitted on Report a problem. For Google Play, the procedures are indicated in assistance related to refunds. The user can also send an unequivocal statement to the competent contracting party identified in their purchase documents. Territorial rules and any commercial refund possibilities of the store are in addition to mandatory rights.
When a refund is required by law, it takes place under the legal conditions and timeframes, generally via the original payment method unless otherwise expressly agreed, without refund-related charges. The store's procedure does not deprive the user of their remedies against the professional responsible for the obligation in question. For a difficulty related to CAMPO STELLATO, the contact indicated in article 2 remains available.
Refunding or canceling a purchase may result in the termination of the Unlimited rights attached to that purchase, in accordance with the applicable rules. This does not transfer any rights over the user's PDF to CAMPO STELLATO.
Sample statement when the right of withdrawal applies
To be sent to the competent contracting party indicated on the receipt; for a contract concluded with CAMPO STELLATO, to the contact details in Article 2. The store form or any unequivocal statement may also be used.

9. Warranties and support
Statutory guarantees apply independently of commercial refund possibilities. The "Legal Guarantees" section of Terms of Use remains applicable. The normal limits of OCR, searching, naming, and other processing do not allow for the removal of promised features or qualities.
For digital features supplied on a one-off basis, information regarding the French statutory guarantee is included in Appendix A. Scantivo Pulse is an online service provided continuously for an indefinite period, under the conditions of the section "Period of provision of Scantivo Pulse" of the Terms of Use. The statutory conformity guarantee covers the entire period of provision; the corresponding information is included in Appendix B. The one-time payment does not limit this guarantee to two years for the continuous service. The termination conditions of the Terms of Use remain applicable, without removing legal rights or commitments already undertaken.
Support examines requests describing the platform, the application version, and the circumstances of the incident. The user may provide an anonymized example when useful, without unnecessarily transmitting confidential documents, passwords, or payment data. This support is not an emergency service.
10. Complaints, mediation, and applicable law
The sections “Claims and Amicable Settlement,” “Consumer Mediation,” “Applicable Law,” and “Disputes Between Traders” of the Terms of Use apply to relationships concerning CAMPO STELLATO, without limiting the consumer's mandatory rights or the store’s own obligations.
After a prior complaint to CAMPO STELLATO that remained without a satisfactory solution, the consumer may refer the dispute to CM2C, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris; phone 01 89 47 00 14; email litiges@cm2c.net ; referral: declare a dispute, subject to the applicable admissibility requirements.
These Terms of Sale are subject to French law subject to applicable mandatory protections, notably in the consumer's country of residence. They do not impose the exclusive jurisdiction of a French court on consumers.
11. Reference language and translations
These documents were originally drafted in French. The English version, prepared with the assistance of artificial intelligence, is provided to make them easier to understand. In the event of any discrepancy in interpretation, the French version shall serve as the reference version, to the extent permitted by applicable law and without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
12. Retention and changes
The conditions applicable to an order are those brought to the user's attention and accepted at the time of its conclusion, subject to any subsequent legally applicable modifications. A new wording does not retroactively remove acquired rights. The user may keep a copy of these conditions; CAMPO STELLATO keeps versions of its texts, without this implying a centralized collection of individual agreements.
The local mechanism for accepting Terms of Use and the management of data by the stores are separate. The data processing procedures are detailed in the Scantivo Privacy Policy and in those of the relevant providers.
Appendices — French regulatory information
Appendix A: digital functions provided on a one-off basis. Appendix B: Scantivo Pulse online service provided continuously. These legal regimes apply to distinct supplies; single payment alone does not determine their qualification.
Appendix A — digital content and services supplied on a one-off basis
Model text from the appendix to Article D. 211-3 of the Consumer Code.
The consumer has a period of two years from the supply of the digital content or digital service to obtain the enforcement of the legal guarantee of conformity in the event of the appearance of a lack of conformity. During a period of one year from the date of supply, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity and not the date of its appearance.
The legal guarantee of conformity entails an obligation to provide all necessary updates to maintain the conformity of the digital content or digital service.
The legal guarantee of conformity gives the consumer the right to have the digital content or digital service brought into conformity without unjustified delay following their request, without cost and without major inconvenience for them.
The consumer may obtain a price reduction while keeping the digital content or digital service, or they may terminate the contract and receive a full refund in exchange for surrendering the digital content or digital service, if:
1° The trader refuses to bring the digital content or digital service into conformity;
2° The bringing of the digital content or digital service into conformity is delayed without justification;
3° The bringing into conformity of the digital content or digital service cannot occur without costs being imposed on the consumer;
4° The bringing into conformity of the digital content or digital service causes a major inconvenience for the consumer;
5° The non-conformity of the digital content or digital service persists despite the trader’s attempt to bring it into conformity having failed.
The consumer also has the right to a price reduction or to the termination of the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies that the price reduction or the contract termination be immediate. The consumer is then not required to request the bringing into conformity of the digital content or digital service beforehand.
In cases where the lack of conformity is minor, the consumer is only entitled to cancel the contract if the contract does not provide for the payment of a price.
Any period during which the digital content or digital service is unavailable in order to bring it into conformity suspends the warranty that was still running until the digital content or digital service is provided again in conformity.
The rights mentioned above result from the application of articles L. 224-25-1 to L. 224-25-31 of the Consumer Code.
A trader who acts in bad faith to obstruct the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which can be increased to 10% of the average annual turnover (Article L. 242-18-1 of the Consumer Code).
In addition, the consumer benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code, for a period of two years from the discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the digital content or digital service is retained, or to a full refund in exchange for relinquishing the digital content or digital service.
Appendix B — Scantivo Pulse, digital service provided continuously
Information based on the annex to Article D. 211-4 of the Consumer Code. The designated contractual period is that of the provision of Scantivo Pulse for an indefinite duration, in accordance with the Terms of Use. The termination conditions do not remove already arisen claims or obligations.
The consumer is entitled to the enforcement of the statutory conformity guarantee in the event of the appearance of a conformity defect during the entire contractual period of provision of Scantivo Pulse, of indefinite duration under the Terms of Use, from the provision of the digital service. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the conformity defect and not the date of its occurrence.
The statutory conformity guarantee entails the obligation to provide all necessary updates to maintain the conformity of the digital content or digital service throughout the entire contractual supply period of Scantivo Pulse as defined above.
1° The trader refuses to bring the digital content or digital service into conformity;
2° The bringing of the digital content or digital service into conformity is delayed without justification;
3° The bringing into conformity of the digital content or digital service cannot occur without costs being imposed on the consumer;
4° The bringing into conformity of the digital content or digital service causes a major inconvenience for the consumer;
13. Contractual protections of CAMPO STELLATO
A price reduction, promotion or free offer introduced after purchase does not create any retroactive right to reimbursement of the difference or to an equivalent benefit, except where required by mandatory law or granted by the store as a commercial decision.
For any request relating to a purchase, restoration or support, the user must provide the store receipt, order reference and accurate information reasonably necessary to process the request. An insufficiently documented request may remain pending until those elements are provided, without altering the applicable legal rules of evidence.
