No. Scantivo receives neither the PDF, its name, its path nor its contents. The signal used to trigger the alert contains no file, name, path, page, text or image. Neither Scantivo nor its developer can open your documents remotely.

The only guaranteed paths are Apple to Apple — between iPhone and iPad with a compatible iCloud Drive folder — and Android to Android with a compatible Google Drive folder. Apple-to-Android tracking through the same folder is not guaranteed. The selected service remains solely responsible for synchronisation under its own terms and privacy policy. Scantivo does not connect to your storage account.

No. Scantivo uses the private app space attached to the active iCloud account on Apple devices, or to the Google account you choose on Android. Scantivo does not create or operate a document account for you.
